The project’s motto is “Light up a life by donating a light.”

There are many people in our country staying in remote parts of India where they still don't have access to proper light in the evening. These people are dependent on kerosene lanterns. The kids do not have access to proper light to study in the evening.

The project’s main objectives are:

  1. To provide proper light to people in the evening.
  2. To replace kerosene lamps with solar LED lanterns.
  3. To reduce many health and safety hazards.
  4. To reduce fire instances caused by kerosene lamps.
  5. Save Rs 200 per month, which was spent on kerosene.
  6. Increase productivity of villagers by utilizing extra time in the evening.
  7. Provide proper light so that children can study after its dark.
