We started our work back in 2015, with keeping “Volunteers” at the core. It was the need of the hour and it continues to be. We tapped the opportunity and delivered successfully during the last three years in this sector which was poorly explored. We developed our identity as a successful and innovative “Volunteer Engagement” programme provider. We are proud to have bridged the gaps in the “Volunteering” area. While the first three years were action-packed with a lot of initiatives, activities, and trials, this year was a year of introspection.

At the onset of 2018, team BV was confident enough to say that they are good at what they promise to do. With our scientific and structured approach, we gave a steady and effective volunteering structure to the organization. We kept the volunteers’ interest intact and encouraged his/her continual participation in the activities.

This year we went a step ahead, to learn what is required to make our work more impactful to the society as a whole. Team BV did an in and out evaluation of all the projects and came up with plans to raise the quality of all of them. After hours of brainstorming, discussions, guidance by the expertise we discarded some activities, added some new ones but what is more important is we decided to go in deep in whatever we do rather than spreading ourselves thin. So, even if many initiatives are the same this year, they were just conducted and carried out differently. I am sure this will help BV to develop as a mature and promising organization. I am confident about my team that does an incredible work. Some new initiatives like “Social Emotional Learning Programme” and “Entrepreneurship Skill Development” under Sponsor A Child Programme (Sponsor A Dream Project), “Greenathon”, etc. will give you an idea of what we are heading to do. In this phase of learning, growth, and evolution, I am overwhelmed to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters for their belief and patience. This inspires us to be a better organization year on year.

My experience in Volunteering has transformed my perspective towards life. It has triggered my rational mind and helped me apply it in every aspect of my life. This has helped me in my personal and professional life as well. 10 years of volunteering has made me modest and confident at the same time.

Volunteering gives a lot of meaning to your life. What we have observed in our activities in Being Volunteer is, there are many people who are willing to do volunteering. But they need a lot of motivation and they need these opportunities easily available/ accessible. Being Volunteer has tapped this need and provided a very big platform. We have seen immense benefits to the children we sponsored and mentored. But more than this, we have seen volunteers being made for lifetime. This has a potential to have more profound and deeper impact on society.

Being Volunteer is an open platform. Its in-organic, scalable nature and professional operations has made it grow exponentially in last 3 years. We have very big dreams and I am sure our Volunteers, CSR partners and NGO partners will make them a reality soon.

Associating with Being Volunteer is a great self-realization, more than anything else. I could learn so much in the company of diverse set of people and also learn about myself, what drives me and what is the ultimate. Now I cannot imagine my life without what I do with Being Volunteer. It’s a great joy being a volunteer with 'Being Volunteer'
